I am happy to announce the release of

The source code, documentation, and examples are available for download
on the magpar download page:

The most important updates and changes include:

   * added Rok Dittrich's demag energy and demag factor calculator
   * new command line option -condinp_file_t_ns
   * lock magnetization with alpha=999 in project.krn
   * added Stefan Tibus's new Gmsh to inp converter msh2inp.awk
   * update for new default library versions
   * removed support for old PETSc and SUNDIALS versions
   * improvements to the initialization routines
   * new implementation of Karlqvist head field (field/hext_kq.c) 
contributed by Josephat Kalezhi
   * added more example material parameters to template project.krn
   * preparations for PETSc 3.1 (still waiting for TAO update)
   * updated documentation, list of publications

Thanks to all contributors who provided feedback and
submitted bug reports, patches, new tools and scripts, etc.!
